The session was organized to aware the students about importance of github and how to use github for the project purpose. The session was scheduled on 14-02-2024 at 11.15 am by the resource person Mrs. Bhagyashree Patil, Kolhapur. The aim is to aware the students about basic concepts and to develop skills among the students. The interactive session is useful to the MCA and BCA students.

Mr. Rituraj educated the MBA students to the benefits of constant upgrading of skills and the working culture prevailing in the Euro nations. He stressed work ethics and communication skills to be embodied by the students during their two years in the college.

Dr. Vinayak Pujari, Assi. Professor, DYPSEM, being the coordinator of NPTEL Chapter, enlightened the students about the online learning platforms available to them form upgrading their skills. He introduced the students to the various online platforms and instructed the student on how to enroll for the same.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mudgal addressed the MBA students, emphasizing on the awareness of competitive culture. He also stressed on the drawbacks of bookless culture prevailing in the youths of today. He interacted with the students about the basics of management education and how to improve efficiency and effectiveness in learning. In the end, Sir advised students to be happy and have fun and learn as much as possible from everyone.

A very refreshing talk by Mr. Prasanna Karmarkar. Students enjoyed the interactive session, activities and management games conducted expertly by Mr. Prasanna. The session did not only encourage students to take up entrepreneurial ventures but also inspired them to think from a different point of view.

The session prioritized in creating awareness amongst the students of MCA and MBA about the International Summer Internship Program in European countries, to integrate Indian research, robot development and start activity for the benefit of the country. It also aimed to aware the students about start up activity, IPR details and to enhance the importance of Project Based Learning.

The event was organized to enhance the students’ understanding about virtualization technology and provide them with afoundation to use Linux within a virtualized environment. This activity aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practicalapplication. It also helped fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development among the students.The event also did not only focus on continuous learning and skill development among the students but also offered them hands on experience of installation process, managing dual operating systems etc.

The ‘Google Developer Students’ Club’ team from D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology conducted the session for MCA students. Apart from the major learning outcomes like the need to study the fundamentals of data science like Mathematics, statistics, Python language, Python libraries and Database management, the students understood the importance of a better portfolio and importance of LinkedIn account to connect for better opportunities for their future career.
